Post CommentThis is an attempt to share some more of my style inspiration in action. Since Sam and I are always pretty much rushed in the morning (damn snooze button), I unfortunately will not be able to post pics that are well thought out etc. But I kind of like sharing this more intimate moment in the morning. The moment where you check yourself out in the mirror before you go face the world.
And in case you wanted some extra inspiration, similar pieces can be found here:
Blazer ($70)/ Dress ($73)/ Necklace ($50)/ Suede Pumps ($80)/ Tights ($8)
All pieces can be found here.

P.S. My dress was thrifted for $4!!

I feel like my posts have been heavier on the female side lately so I thought I would post this RAD adult tree house that would definitely conjure up nostalgic feelings for anyone whatever your gender. For me, it reminds me of the time my little sis and I tried to build a tree house out of five wooden planks. We just stuck the planks in between sturdy branches and sat on them thinking it was the coolest thing ever and the best place to eat otter pops.
I would loooove to have an architectural gem like this one in my backyard… this is the perfect adult (gender neutral) cave!

The Guardian had a great post about ethical fashion for Spring. Here are two of my favorite items they featured.
Manumit Fair Trade Neon Aztec Bangle ($22)
Fair Trade African Ruched Skirt ($55)

Post CommentThese two green products are on the top of my list for purchase. I love the environment and the less chemicals I can put in my pores the better!
The Malin+ Goetz Eucalyptus deodorant ($18) was recommended to me by my close friends who are paranoid about putting anything not natural under their arms, but Tom’s was just not cutting it. What I love best about this line is that all the products are unisex, the packaging, and of course that all ingredients are natural.
I have learned a lot lately about how harsh detergents can actually be on your clothes and the environment. I am determined to find an alternative and I think the Ecowasbal ($38) by The Future Perfect might be it.
The product is soap-less and eco-friendly and is filled instead with small ceramic beads that the designers say clean your clothes just as well than normal detergent. When the beads come in contact with water, they create hydroxyl ions. Like traditional detergents, these ions reduce the surface tension of water, activating the water molecules, and then dirt is released from the fibers. This pretty thing lasts up to 1,000 washes.
Has anyone tried either of these products? What do you think?
