Talking about the Oscars, did you see the winning documentary short Inocente? It is a pretty powerful film about a homeless and undocumented youth, Inocente, who refuses to give up on her dream of being an artist because of her circumstances. In no way does she let homeless or undocumented define her and her dreams.
